My arms open wide and darkness emits.
Radial forms all lead to one.
Cries in distress of the endless form.
A great fire to cleanse all entwinement.
Limbs fall lifeless to charred remains under veil of a jet black night,
Springtime will bloom new flowers with thorns of glass and petals of grief.
Growing amidst the April showers.
Picked before blossoming by an innocent thief.
Divinity cloaked in a robe of flies,
Bares no fruit worthy to consume.
The formless idol sends clouds of fire from the skies.
Her eyes of emerald green to serve as my tomb.
Cast me down to where the sinners dwell.
Lifeless vessel of an empty shell.
The trees sway in the autumn breeze
From creaking branches, dead leaves released.
I long for her embrace one more time.
Hearts in unison and limbs entwined.
She pulls me under the surface, planting her roots deep inside.
A dagger to the heart of finality.
