And throughout existence like a drink,
That intoxicates through calm…All! Symbols of defense!
When the ship sail with dragon heads, fin their way
Out of the misty shores as they set course into the lands
Beyond the fjord…No return!
See the sail – They are rising high! See the storm.
The electrifying wrath!
As from dances all over the oaken and lightning storm
Ar flashing around…Still my brothers
they don’t know if we’ll ever reach the distant shore…
Hail the gods! Hail the goddesses!
Hail to you, oh distant land! Give us knowledge,
Grant the wisdom as through sorcery
