They came to see the dead.
Expecting corpses among them, they found His tomb instead was empty, just as He had told them.
“Who is it that you seek?” The Lord’s messenger said.
“Jesus the Living King is not among the dead!”
Behold, the Living King, He is risen, He is not here.
Fear not, He is alive.
He who died is the Living One, the firstborn from the dead.
Christ conquered the grave, praise the Living King!
