Eyes watching over me
Expectations smothering me
Inhaling black smoke
Deep breathing servitude
The mind and the body melt
Scorched by the sun
They coagulate
And when it’s over
Unrecognised, unsalvageable
Concrete trapping heat
Perfect grey jagged edges cave in on me
Things being pulverised in the distance
Crushed into a fine dust
Dead carcass in the gutter
Live carcass on the street
No thought of the future
I drift off
Nothing looking back
A gaze that sees no reflections
A trance-like state
The smell of burnt particles left behind
Sounds of the city fade away
Haze clears
All concrete things are dissolving
Around me
One thing flows into another smoothly
No tangible thoughts exist here
