Upon the gates we march
Raising our spears to the sky
Cerberus of the underworld
Will meet his fate tonight
As the gates open we see the beast
Standing firm in his place
Cerberus the hound of war
Ready to meet his end
Three heads so foul
Shrouded in the stench of death
Cerberus, Hades’s dog of war
Devourer of flesh and soul
Guarding the gates of the underworld
With Spears ready, and shields raised
We move upon the beast
With jaws open and teeth laid bare
He goes for the attack
Our hearts filled with dread
We push through the bloodshed
Three heads so foul
Shrouded in the stench of death
Cerberus, Hades’s dog of war
Devourer of flesh and soul
Guarding the gates of the underworld
Do not falter men
Raise your spears
Raise your shields
This is what we came for
If we perish
We do so in glory
Crushing
Slashing
Ripping
Tearing
Through blood and gore
Three became two
Blood drenches the floor
Taking aim for his heart
We thrust our spears as one
Piercing the beast, into his heart
He falls along the floor
Two heads became none
As we sever them for good
Cerberus the dog of war
Will guard these gates no more
