Macabre slaughter of the rational mind, left are the ones kneeling blind
Like smoke from fires, lurid rumours spread their way through the halls upon the hollowed earth
A morbid mind’s delight
Words of devotion echo in the night:
“Show thyself to me my Lord, in worship I shall follow thee!
Fulfill my wish of fortune, oh please guide me to impurity and bliss!”
Before a mountain ridge a devotee kneels in desperation “Oh Lord, hear me!”
In the dead of night a pale form lures the adherent through a gateway into the eroded spine of mother Earth
In belief of spiritual guidance the salvation seeker crawls along a pathway
enchanted by the entrance below
By the end of the hallway, in a dismal chamber the Majesty stands beckoning behind a shrine
“Come forth! Feareth not thy Lord. Kneeleth before thy King”
Servants emerge from the shadows, pass by their Master, then proceed to the disciple
When led to the eroded shrine the devotee again falls to his knees entranced by the prophecy
