Voices, on the freezing air
Compelled the horses, white of hair
The ocean, spiteful, drove us back
Into the rocks, and sea pitch black
Lost, starved, parched, alone
Desperate now, so far from home
The voices called, so sweet and clear
Drowned out the warnings I wouldn’t hear
Then, behold, merciful steed
Salvation found in time of need
But fate has found me, cursed fool
Bound to a demon dragging me to the waves

True face revealed, the mane ablaze

And galloped there with demon’s haste
