This is not for me
How are you so blind?
The purpose is but a means to an end
Below the surface you cannot just pretend
The crime:
Violence in the form of prosperity
It leaves you blind, the diamonds in your eyes
But nothing will change their mind
You look above, reach into the sky
While we struggle to survive, you’ve got diamonds in your eyes
With fire above and hell below, we both know where you’ll go
The confines of mortality never cross your mind
We’re dying in the streets
We can barely meet our needs
There’s nothing left to readdress
This system is built to oppress
You’re given one chance
You can’t start over
Taking it for granted
It’s such a shame
It’s not too late, but our time is running short
A little bit of thought and consideration could go a long way

Revel in the flame you cast upon yourself, your negligence
It can’t be reversed, but it can surely be stopped
