Yesterday cherishing the joys of living
Today a lifeless corpse
Yesterday, a shepherd of benevolence was I
A godless entity I’ve become
Smoldering between life and death
Claustrophobia, a cross I cannot bear
Trapped in a casket, gasping for air
Lying down, caressed by cold steel
Frozen stare, life has been drained out of me
Lullabies sung by a voice unknown
Uncanny symphony, deathlike slumber
A hearse delivering me, to the valley of unrest
The sun has risen, in a land I’ll no longer see
