Fire!
Scorching clouds
Sends ancient embers down
Like bullets from the sun
All is consumed
By an ocean of tar
Forest and city alike
Man and beast
In hellfire burn
The prophets tear – their own eyes out
When the earth is alight
The sky is black
Men break down
To the order of rats
The weak shall perish
As they gather in fear
The great eye watches
indifferently
An empire turned to dust
What men achieved
Will disappear
In a sea of eternal flames
Their screams fall on deaf ears
All shall burn!
His skin felt like a prison
He tore it from his bones
The dismal wreckage of a man
Who has seen the fate of the world
As the vision faded away
The prophet was on his knees
And as tears ran from his eyes
He ran to warn the world
