My life was balanced and happy
I had a wife and two children
I worked in an office as an engineer
And I enjoyed my job
We had saved money
And bought a small house near town
It wasn’t in the best area
But it was our own, our own
But nothing good lasts forever
And troubles started to gather around
Changes come over our country
And we couldn’t ignore them
We tried to live as we were used to
But wheel of changes broke our harmony
Our government had declared war
And I was bound to join the army
I didn’t understand that killing and destroying
We were innocent victims of dirty political games
Could that destroying build us a better land, as they said?
I didn’t find it out, I was killed in action
